    Chat-Crafting and Video Competition Rules 1. General Description The Platform periodically organizes Competitions, which may include Chat-Crafting Competitions (in which creators design and submit interactive AI chat experiences, “Chats”) and Video Competitions (in which creators design and submit AI-generated video content, “Videos”). All competitions are based on a specific book, text, or other declared source (“Source Material”). Each Competition is governed by these General Rules and by additional Competition-Specific Rules, which define deadlines, prizes, evaluation criteria, and any special conditions. In case of conflict, Competition-Specific Rules prevail. 2. Eligibility 2.1. Participation is open to individuals who are legally capable of entering online competitions under the laws of their country of residence. 2.2. Participation requires prior registration and authentication on the Platform. 2.3. Employees, contractors, or affiliates of the Platform may be restricted from participation, as specified in the Competition-Specific Rules. 2.4. Participation from certain jurisdictions may be limited or excluded due to legal or regulatory constraints. 3. Roles 3.1. Contest Creators Contest Creators are registered users who submit Chats to the Competition. 3.2. Players / Voters Players are registered users who interact with submitted Chats and provide feedback through likes or donations. 4. Submission Process 4.1. To submit a Chat, a User must: Register on the Platform; Use the provided editing form to create and submit a prompt and any associated configuration. The full-fledged echo-chat editing form is available for the approved Creators. All Users can participate in chat crafting contests using a simplified form without aprovement. 4.2. Each submission must comply with: These Rules; Competition-Specific Rules; Platform Terms of Service; Applicable laws and regulations. 4.3. The Contest Creator is solely responsible for the content of the submitted Chat, including compliance with copyright, fair use, and attribution requirements. 4.4. Video Submissions In Video Competitions, Creators submit AI-generated video content (“Videos”) instead of, or in addition to, AI chat content, as specified in the Competition-Specific Rules. Videos submitted to competitions are standalone, non-interactive media files. They are not interactive AI chat experiences. Video contests on Quizly / Kvasir do not involve real-time AI interaction as part of the submission itself. The Creator is solely responsible for all content in their Video, including compliance with copyright, fair use, applicable laws, and these Rules. Creators must not submit anything unlawful. Videos must not contain illegal content, infringe third-party intellectual property rights, violate any applicable law, or include content prohibited under Section 13 or the Platform's Terms of Service. 4.5. Lawful Use All Participants must at all times comply with applicable laws and regulations. It is prohibited to: submit or publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes third-party rights; use the Competition or the Platform for any unlawful purpose; attempt to manipulate, defraud, or circumvent Competition rules or voting mechanisms. 5. Evaluation and Voting 5.1. Interaction Users may interact with submitted Chats during the Competition period. 5.2. Voting Methods Chats may be evaluated by: Likes; and/or Monetary donations. The applicable methods are defined in the Competition-Specific Rules. 5.3. Vote Conversion For ranking purposes: USD 1.00 in donations equals 10 likes. 5.4. Voting Restrictions Each registered user may cast no more than one (1) like per Chat. Donations are voluntary and non-refundable. 6. Donations and Subscriptions 6.1. Donations are made to support Creators and to express user preference in the Competition. Payments made by users are directed to Creators. The Platform acts solely as an intermediary agent facilitating such payments on behalf of Creators. 6.2. Donations are transferred to Creators in accordance with the Platform’s Rules and Conditions, after deduction of applicable fees, commissions, and any taxes required to be withheld under applicable law. All amounts received in connection with donations are deemed to belong to the respective Creator immediately upon payment, subject only to applicable Platform fees. The Platform does not acquire ownership of such amounts and does not exercise discretionary redistribution of funds. 6.2.1 Platform Fees Flexibility The Platform may change, reduce, or not apply fees for a particular Creator according to a separate agreement. 6.3. A user who donates USD 20.00 or more during a Competition may receive a site subscription, subject to the following conditions: The user is not a resident of the European Union or UK; The subscription is granted as a promotional reward for activity, not as a purchased digital service. 6.4. Subscription eligibility, duration, and benefits may be modified or restricted in Competition-Specific Rules. 6.5 Platform Role in Payments The Platform’s role in donation-related payments is limited to technical processing, fee deduction, and settlement to Creators. The Platform does not provide: - payment accounts, - stored-value accounts, - digital wallets, - or money transfer services between users. 7. Prizes 7.1. Each Competition declares its prize(s), which may include: Voting donations (after deduction of all fees and taxes), such amounts representing funds attributed to Creators in accordance with Section 6; Additional monetary rewards; Digital or physical art pieces; Other non-cash items. 7.2. Prize details, including quantity, value, and delivery method, are specified in the Competition-Specific Rules. 7.3. Prizes are awarded to the Creator(s) whose Chat(s) achieve the highest final score after vote conversion. 8. Competition Timeline 8.1. Each Competition defines: Submission opening and closing dates; Voting period; Announcement date of results. 8.2. The Platform reserves the right to modify timelines if required by technical or operational circumstances. 9. Determination of Results 9.1. Final rankings are calculated based on the total number of likes plus converted donation equivalents. 9.2. The Platform’s calculation and determination of results are final and binding. 9.3. No appeals, recounts, or disputes will be entertained. 10. Intellectual Property 10.1. Creators retain ownership of their original prompt text, subject to the Platform’s license terms. 10.1a. Creators have full and unrestricted rights to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and publish any content created by them in connection with the Competition, including submitted Videos, images, and AI chats. This right exists independently of Competition outcome or Platform status, subject only to applicable laws. 10.2. By submitting a Chat, the Creator grants the Platform a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, promote, and archive the submission. 10.2a. By submitting a Video, the Creator grants the Platform a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, promote, and archive that Video. 10.3. The Platform does not claim ownership of Source Materials and assumes no responsibility for their legal status. 11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability 11.1. The Platform provides the Competition “as is” and “as available.” 11.2. The Platform: Does not guarantee visibility, engagement, or fairness of outcomes; Is not responsible for user behavior, donations, or content; Does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Does not take responsibility for the continued availability of any submitted content, including Videos and Chats, which may be removed at any time without notice. 11.3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform disclaims all liability for: Financial loss; Loss of data; Loss of opportunity; Legal claims arising from submitted content or user interactions. 12. Taxes and Legal Compliance 12.1. Winners are solely responsible for any taxes, duties, or reporting obligations related to prizes. 12.2. The Platform does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice. 12.3 Nature of Donations Donations represent voluntary support for Creators and/or engagement within the Platform. They do not constitute charitable donations unless explicitly stated and do not create any financial account or stored-value instrument. 13. Termination and Disqualification 13.1. The Platform reserves the right to: Disqualify any submission or participant for rule violations; Remove content at its sole discretion; Delete or permanently remove any submission, including Videos and AI chats, at any time, with or without notice, without providing reasons, and without any liability to the Creator or any other party; Cancel or suspend a Competition without prior notice. 13.2. The Platform takes no responsibility for any consequences arising from the removal, deletion, or unavailability of any submission or Competition. 14. Governing Law 14.1. These Rules are governed by the law specified in the Platform’s Terms of Service. 14.2. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the jurisdiction defined therein. 15. Acceptance of Rules Participation in a Chat-Crafting Competition constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Rules and any Competition-Specific Rules. 16. European Union (EU) and GDPR-Specific Provisions 16.1. Applicability This section applies exclusively to users who are residents of the European Union, as defined by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”). 16.2. Donations by EU Users 16.2.1. EU users may: Participate in Competitions; Play and evaluate Chats; Cast likes in accordance with the voting rules; Make voluntary donations. 16.2.2. For EU users, donations are treated solely as voluntary support and engagement signals and do not constitute: A purchase of digital content; A payment for services; A consideration for goods or benefits. 16.2.3. Donations are non-refundable and do not grant any guaranteed rights, access, or advantages beyond participation in the Competition. 16.3. Donation-to-Like Conversion (EU Users) 16.3.1. For internal ranking purposes only, donations may be converted into virtual evaluation points (likes) at the declared conversion rate. 16.3.2. This conversion: Has no monetary value; Does not represent stored value, credit, or e-money; Exists solely for Competition ranking mechanics. 16.4. Subscriptions and EU Users 16.4.1. Promotional subscriptions granted in exchange for activity or donation thresholds are not available to EU users. 16.4.2. EU users may obtain subscriptions only through explicit purchase, where: Pricing is clearly displayed; VAT is calculated and applied according to EU regulations; Required consumer disclosures are provided. 16.4.3. Any subscription benefits available to EU users are governed exclusively by the Platform’s Subscription Terms. 16.5. Consumer Rights Disclaimer 16.5.1. Nothing in these Rules is intended to waive or limit mandatory consumer rights granted under applicable EU law. 16.5.2. Where EU consumer protection law applies, such provisions shall prevail over these Rules to the extent required by law. 16.6. Data Protection and Privacy 16.6.1. The Platform processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and the GDPR. 16.6.2. For Competition purposes, the Platform may process: Account identifiers; Interaction data (likes, plays); Donation metadata (excluding full payment instrument details). 16.6.3. EU users retain all GDPR rights, including: Right of access; Right to rectification; Right to erasure; Right to restriction of processing; Right to data portability; Right to object. 16.7. Automated Processing and Rankings 16.7.1. Competition rankings are generated automatically based on predefined rules. 16.7.2. Such automated processing: Produces no legal or similarly significant effects; Is used solely for entertainment and competition purposes. 16.8. Jurisdictional Neutrality 16.8.1. Participation by EU users does not imply that the Competition constitutes: A lottery; A paid contest; A regulated game of chance under EU law. 16.8.2. The Platform makes no representations regarding classification under specific national regimes and operates the Competition as a skill- and engagement-based activity. 16.9. Precedence In case of conflict between this section and other Competition Rules, this EU/GDPR section prevails for EU users only.
